It just doesn't get any better than this. These ladies not only have a cool website - they have a cold one. The Frozen Snappers are the Original Snapper Snatchers' adopted ladies hockey team. Based in Chicago, these ladies have the motto "Hottest Tail on Ice" and we don't doubt it. They appear to be a fun loving bunch of rascals with what it takes to be a true "Snapper". Snapper Snatchers - Frozen Snappers...... it must be kismet.

What is not to like about the name of this website? Being the Original Snapper Snatchers we are always delighted to find "happy snappers" and to find them on a "head boat" is even more satisfying. If you plan to check out the casinos and need a break, give them a call and snatch some snappers on the Mississippi Coast.
You will enjoy this very personal website from an extraordinary musician that many of the Original SnapperSnatchers know personally. Based in Montgomery, AL, this talented vocalist and keyboardist has brought together and performed around the Southeast with many talented musicians including Tommy Shaw, Beth Nielsen Chapman and Tim Jackson who is the leader of the Hog's Breath Band (our favorite go-see in Destin). see Snapper Shots Visitors to this site can read a little history of each band and download some vintage song clips. Snapper Bill and wife DJ care for the original Sinclair's in Old Cloverdale. During the recent filming of "The Big Fish" in the Montgomery area, Sinclair's was the place for the cast to hang out. Snapper Bill got to meet many of Hollywood's finest but we tend to think that Hollywood's finest got to meet a Snapper Snatcher.
Liz Melendez is a cross between Stevie Ray Vaughn, Carlos Santana, Bonnie Raitt and Janis Joplin. Snapper Austin and Snapper Jack met Liz when she played in Montgomery at Gator's in early May 2003. She joined our table during a break and it didn't take long for Liz to see the Snapper Light as she wore her Snapper Snatcher t-shirt for her final set. Later in the month, Liz played as the front group for Nappy Roots and the Doobie Brothers during Montgomery's Jubilee Cityfest. Oh yeah, she plays a killer Hendrix - Voodoo Child.
Imagine a Vargas pin-up girl come to life and shot up with a cocktail of PCP and rabies - that's Storm. She is larger than life (six feet) and far more beautiful than Vargas could do justice. Storm's shtick is take songs or groups of songs that you have heard from punk to rock to ballads to… you name it… and throw them into a blender with her bra and thong and mix them up. What comes out is some of the most intriguing music I have ever heard performed in a professional, sexy, edgy, theatrical treatment by a songstress with a range of unparalleled and unerring musical magic.
Everybody needs to keep up with the weather, especially if you have a fishing trip planned.
